Mostert puts Prodrive on top in V8 practice

Chaz Mostert put Prodive Racing Australia on top in the second V8 Supercars practice session of the weekend with a late charge at Winton. Mostert, who was recently re-signed for two more years by the squad, jumped to the top of the times 90 seconds before the end of the session with a 1m23.191s, before improving on a second green tyre lap to improve to 1m23.015s. That relegated Nissan’s James Moffat to second, the 2013 Winton race winner leading the charge for the Kelly Racing-run squad with a 1m23.2673s lap.
