IndyCar has confirmed testing plans ahead of the 2019 season which will get underway with a two-day test at the Circuit Of the Americas. The Texas permanent road course will host the only official pre-season test for the IndyCar series on Feb 12-13 with all full-time teams set to be present for the test. Circuit of the Americas joins the IndyCar schedule for the first time, joining Texas Motor Speedway to make a second race in the lone-star state and will be the second event on the calendar on March 24 after the season opener in St. Petersburg.
