Scott Dixon signs multi-year contract extension with Chip Ganassi Racing: “This team has been like a family to me'
The winning combination of Scott Dixon and Chip Ganassi could continue well into its second decade as Chip Ganassi Racing announced Monday that Dixon has signed a multi-year contract extension with the team. Dixon, the third winningest driver in the history of the Verizon IndyCar Series, has been one of IndyCar’s most sought after free agents heading into the 2019 season. Since making his debut with Chip Ganassi Racing in 2002 and achieving what he has achieved with the team, it is hard to picture Dixon anywhere but at Ganassi.
