Ed Jones says there's little he could have done to avoid the incident with Charlie Kimball that left the Carlin car in the barriers during the first part of the rain-interrupted Verizon IndyCar Series race at Barber on Sunday. "There was a bit of contact," Jones told RACER after a misfire with his Honda engine left the CGR driver in 20th position, three spots ahead of Kimball. "He'd already half lost it, and I tapped him and he went around. I didn't mean to do it. When a guy's already almost lost it, you hit the brakes when you can, but with the visibility in conditions like that, judging distance isn't the easiest thing. It wasn't intentional."
