Power claims 49th career pole at Mid-Ohio
– Will Power has moved into a tie for fourth on the all-time poles list in the Verizon IndyCar Series after gapping the field by 0.1347 seconds at Mid-Ohio on Saturday. The result is his 49th career pole.Power led team-mate Josef Newgarden in a Q3 whose Fast Six was comprised of four different teams.Takuma Sato had a strong showing in third place and will be lining up alongside Ohio-native Graham Rahal., who has been near the top of the time charts all weekend.
