Tristan Vautier to drive for Dale Coyne Racing at Texas
Tristan Vautier will return to the IndyCar series for this weekend’s round at the Texas Motor Speedway, taking over the No.18 Dale Coyne Racing car. The team’s regular driver, Sebastien Bourdais, is currently recovering from injuries sustained in a crash during qualifying for the Indianapolis 500. James Davison replaced him for the famous race, with ex-F1 driver Esteban Gutierrez then making his IndyCar debut in the No.18 car at the Detroit double-header least weekend. However, he was ruled out of competing at Texas due to his lack of oval experience, with Vautier being called up to replace him for the next round.
