Form held up in Saturday morning's warm-up session for the IndyCar Grand Prix as pole-sitter Will Power and teammate Josef Newgarden paced the field of 22 cars. Power, who broke the IMS road course record by almost a second on Friday in Roger Penske's Verizon Chevy, turned a fast lap of 1m10.2014s during the 30-minute practice period and Newgarden, who starts third in one of Penske's five entries, was close behind at 1m10.257s.
