Pagenaud hails 'courageous' Alonso over Indy
– Reigning IndyCar champion Simon Pagenaud thinks Fernando Alonso's decision to compete at this year's Indianapolis 500 is "courageous" and reckons it will boost the series.Alonso will pilot a one-car McLaren team run by Andretti Autosport at the iconic event, and visited the IndyCar race at Barber over the weekend, before conducting simulator work with Andretti on Tuesday.Pagenaud, whose best finish at the Indy 500 is eighth in 2013, is hopeful that Alonso's entry will lead to more crossovers in the future."I think it's very courageous," Pagenaud is quoted by the official IndyCar website."It's going to be exciting, I think, even for us just to see how he...
