Rahal crashes in Phoenix night session
Graham Rahal became the second driver to crash at IndyCar's Phoenix open test, following Alexander Rossi's solo accident during the Saturday afternoon session. Rahal's No. 15 Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing Honda swapped ends exiting the Turn 1/2 complex while the Ohioan was running in a pack. He was quickly checked and released from the infield care center, but his car, bearing left-rear damage from the hard impact, is done for the night. Unfortunate to lose the car there exiting T1. All is good, light hit, frustrated for our guys. Car was feeling ok, but aero isn't great here — Graham Rahal (@GrahamRahal) February 12, 2017
