INDYCAR: Foyt confirms Chevy power
AJ Foyt Racing will complete its sweeping overhaul with engines and aero kits provided by Chevrolet. Far from a secret, the switch from years of Honda involvement to the Bowtie was made early in the offseason as team president Larry Foyt sought to change the fortunes of the beleaguered team. Incoming drivers Carlos Munoz and Conor Daly will have the same 2.2-liter twin-turbo V6 motors and bodywork that have propelled the brand to five consecutive Verizon IndyCar Series manufacturers' titles.
