INDYCAR: Pocono signs two-year extension
Pocono's place on the IndyCar schedule has been secured through to 2018. Pocono Raceway President and CEO Brandon Igdalsky confirmed on Wednesday that the venue's current deal has been extended by two years, although dates for the 2017 and 2018 events are yet to be announced. "We are thrilled to share this great news that we will host the Verizon IndyCar Series through 2018," said Igdalsky.
