Max Chilton: “It was a long day in the office”

Max Chilton was unable to make much impression on the Honda Indy 200 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on Sunday, starting thirteenth but finishing down in sixteenth. The Chip Ganassi Racing driver tried an alternative strategy, not pitting with the majority of the rest of the field during the first safety car period, but fell to the back when he was forced to finally take on fuel and tyres, and with the difficult nature of overtaking at the circuit, even with push-to-pass, it was a long afternoon under the sun.
