Newgarden dominates the field at Iowa

– Josef Newgarden's summer has been quite a rollercoaster ride, but it was nearly all smooth sailing this evening as the American led an IndyCar record 282 laps en route to an absolutely dominant victory in the Iowa Corn 300.Starting second behind championship leader Simon Pagenaud, Newgarden slid into first at the start and never looked back, at one point lapping nearly the entire field before leading more laps than any driver ever has in an IndyCar event.Prior to the race's first caution period, brought out by an engine failure for Ryan Hunter-Reay, the Ed Carpenter Racing driver had built up a 13-second lead.  This meant he was fewer than ten seconds from lapping P2 Pagenaud, who...
