IndyCar: Kanaan leads Ganassi fightback in New Orleans
While Penske dominated the entire weekend at Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, it was Chip Ganassi Racing’s Tony Kanaan who prevented a complete walkover by slicing into the top three on race day. In the opening practice session for the first Grand Prix of New Orleans, Brazilian veteran’s momentum continued to build, topping the 90-minute session with 40 minutes left to run, and then improving in the final five minutes to duck under the 79 second barrier.
