IndyCar: Wilson auction nears $200K mark after 4 Days of bidding
The eBay auction created to raise money for the Justin Wilson Children's Fund is closing in on the $200,000 mark. Combined with sizeable donations made on helmets worn by IndyCar drivers Ryan Hunter-Reay and Graham Rahal prior to the auction, just over $183,000 has been raised so far. Bidding during the first week of the auction has been reserved exclusively for helmets worn by Verizon IndyCar Series drivers. "It's amazing to see some of the numbers that are posting on some of the helmets; right now we're just in the phase of Sonoma IndyCar helmets and it blows your mind to see how much has been raised," said Wilson's younger brother Stefan.
