Newgarden leads CFHR 1–2 in Toronto

– Josef Newgarden would be quick to agree with anyone who says rain always mixes up a race, but that wasn't the only reason why the American snatched victory away from Penske on Sunday.  Perfectly-timed pit stops for both Newgarden and his team-mate Luca Filippi meant that they jumped a large chunk of the field under yellow, taking the lead from polesitter Will Power.The pit stop didn't guarantee a victory, however, as three quarters of the 85-lap race still remained.  But the young American stayed cool in the thick of changeable conditions, varying fuel strategies and even a scary look from his teammate to win by 1.4485 seconds, making him a rare repeat winner this year.The...
