Mostert apologises for Winton crash
Chaz Mostert has apologised to the Prodrive Racing Australia crew after his game-changing crash during today’s V8 Supercars race at Winton. Having taken a clean sweep of pole positions across the weekend, as well as a win and a third from Saturday’s two races, Mostert was on for victory in today’s feature race before crashing mid-way through. The high-speed off on the run to turn four left him beached on top of the tyre bundle, and fell three laps down before being able to get going again.
