Scott Dixon and Will Power called to run aeroscreen test at Indianapolis
Chip Ganassi's Scott Dixon and Team Penske's Will Power are set to take to the world-famous 2.5mile Indianapolis oval in order to test out the new aeroscreen on October 2. IndyCar has worked in conjunction with Red Bull Advanced Technologies to help design the aeroscreen for enhanced driver cockpit protection, building upon the recently introduced AFP system which came in this season ahead of the Indianapolis Grand Prix. The aeroscreen will be anchored to the car via a titanium frame and will consist of a polycarbonate laminated screen which includes an anti-reflective coating on the interior of the screen.
