Pocono practice and qualifying cancelled due to rain

IndyCar officials have called off practice and qualifying for the 2019 ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway due to incoming rain into the area. The grid for Sunday's race will therefore be set by championship order. This will mean Team Penske's Josef Newgarden will lead the field away, while 2018 winner Alexander Rossi will start alongside him on the front row, in front of Simon Pagenaud and Scott Dixon. A two-hour practice session is scheduled to take place once track conditions are deemed suitable for running. Sunday's 200-lap ABC Supply 500 is scheduled to get underway at 14:45 local time.
