Fernando Alonso unsure of time frame on Indy return
Fernando Alonso says it is “too soon” to determine whether he will return to Indianapolis for 2020, in the wake of his and McLaren’s failure this month. Alonso and McLaren entered a one-car effort for the Spaniard’s second crack at the Indianapolis 500, but its preparation was beset by a sequence of issues and setbacks. Alonso failed to qualify in the top 30 in Saturday’s session and was then bumped out of the field by Juncos Racing’s Kyle Kaiser on Sunday.
