Carlin says IndyCar program 'closer than ever'

Carlin Racing owner Trevor Carlin (pictured) continues to prepare his team for the addition of a Verizon IndyCar Series program. The Briton's Mazda Road to Indy team has already become a powerhouse in North America after winning the 2016 Indy Lights title with Ed Jones from its base in Florida, and it would appear taking the final step to the top open-wheel series is finally within sight.
