IndyCar unveils 2018 superspeedway kit

– IndyCar officials have unveiled the superspeedway version of the universal bodywork kit which will be fitted to all cars in the championship next season.As per the current bodywork kits, supplied by Chevrolet and Honda – who will continue as engine suppliers – there is a superspeedway oval configuration, unveiled today (Monday), and a road/street course configuration.The universal bodywork kit has been designed by Dallara, which has been the sole chassis supplier for the past decade, and it covers the IR-12 chassis, in use since 2012.Testing of the superspeedway version of the aero kit will begin on Tuesday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with Juan Pablo Montoya and Oriol...
