Will Power storms to Iowa pole

Will Power has stormed to his fourth pole position of the season in dominant style for the Iowa Corn 300, with the 2014 champion ending the session well ahead of the rest of the field. The Penske racer was the last driver to take to the Iowa Speedway during the all-important qualifying session, and eased to the top with a 185.210mph two-lap average. Power will start the 300-lap race alongside J.R. Hildebrand, who masterfully managed to move on from his shunt in practice earlier in the day to qualify on the front row of the grid for Ed Carpenter Racing. Initially it looked as though Hildebrand was on course to secure his maiden pole position, after producing a very impressive 183.811mph...
