Hildebrand, Pigot laud productive Sonoma test

After topping IndyCar's open test at Phoenix oval last Friday and Saturday, Ed Carpenter Racing completed it Western trek with a visit to Sonoma Raceway on Tuesday, where JR Hildebrand and Spencer Pigot completed a busy day of solo running on the winding road course. Phoenix marked the first test for ECR and Hildebrand, who is making his full-time return to the Verizon IndyCar Series in the No. 21 Chevy, and with the visit to his home track at Sonoma, the Bay Area product says great progress was made.
