Phoenix Raceway set for renovation project

– Phoenix Raceway has unveiled plans to modernise its venue, including renovated facilities, improved fan access and the repositioning of its start/finish line.The tri-banked oval returned to the IndyCar calendar last year, with Ganassi's Scott Dixon emerging victorious, after a decade-long absence from the championship.Officials at the circuit have now announced plans to create an infield fan zone, a new pedestrian tunnel, and new spectator areas featuring in-seat Wi-Fi connectivity.On-track, the start/finish line will be moved to Turn 2, just before the circuit's dogleg, with the entire project set to be completed in November 2018."When our project is completed, we will have a...
