INDY LIGHTS: Hamilton Jr. to run Monterey doubleheader
Davey Hamilton Jr., the 18-year-old son of veteran Indy car driver Davey Hamilton, will make his Indy Lights presented by Cooper Tires debut with McCormack Racing in the doubleheader series finale at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. "I'm glad to have the opportunity to compete in the Indy Lights with Jack McCormack and to make my debut on the road course," Hamilton said. "I'm looking forward to getting some laps under my belt to have a solid weekend." Hamilton, who has tested the third and current IL-15 fourth generation Lights car, will have three more days of testing in the next two weeks.
