Pippa Mann: “It's definitely been a tough weekend”

Pippa Mann completed Monday’s 500-mile race at Pocono Raceway three laps down in seventeenth, and admitted it had been a tough weekend all round for both herself and the Dale Coyne Racing team. Mann was drafted in to race at the Tricky Triangle, but the tragic passing of Bryan Clauson, a Coyne driver earlier this year at the Indianapolis 500, left a dark mark over the weekend, and both Mann and team-mate Conor Daly raced at Pocono to honour him. A anti-roll bar issue also made Mann’s afternoon a difficult one, but despite finishing three laps down, she was much happier with the car than she had been at any point prior to the race.
