Schmidt Peterson Motorsports has confirmed that Jack Harvey and Zachary Claman de Melo will take part in Thursday's IndyCar rookie test at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Harvey spent 2014 and 2015 racing for SPM in Indy Lights, finishing second in the championship on both occasions. The Briton had hoped to secure a full-time IndyCar drive for 2016, but was unsuccessful. Claman de Melo took part in a handful of races across junior series in Europe in 2015 before moving into Indy Lights, where he has recorded a highest finish of fourth place at Road America so far this season.
