Marco Andretti hoping to end family 'curse' in 100th Indy 500

A member of the legendary Andretti family hasn't won the Indianapolis 500 since 1969, and that's the only time they ever won. That was the 53rd running of the event. We're about to witness the 100th. Between then and now, the Andrettis have lost the crown jewel of American open-wheel racing in almost every way possible. Five members of the Andretti family have taken part in the 500. Combined, they've had over 70 chances to win 'The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.' And as stated before, only once have they triumphed. The reason why they don't have innumerable Borg-Warners by now is baffling.
