Unlikely circumstances put Briscoe in position to make racing history

Ryan Briscoe could be the only driver since A.J. Foyt to win the triple crown of sports car races and the Indy 500, should things go his way in the next month. Ryan Briscoe has the potential to do something that only racing legend A.J. Foyt has accomplished. Foyt is the only driver to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans (1967),  the Rolex 24 at Daytona (1983, 85), the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring (1985) and the Indianapolis 500 (1961, 1964, 1967 and 1977).
