Mid-Ohio double-header returns to 2020 IndyCar schedule
The NTT IndyCar Series has officially confirmed today the double-header races at Mid-Ohio will return to the 2020 schedule and will take place on September 12-13. Two races were originally scheduled for August 8-9, just before the Indianapolis 500 sessions got underway. However, they were removed from calendar just one week before they were to take place due to the rise in local Covid-19 cases prompted the event to be temporarily pulled. Despite the postponement, IndyCar always held a promise it would try to find an acceptable date in September, where there was a sizeable gap in the revised schedule.
